I am very much intrigued when Dr Wong introduced the "App Assessment" form. The list of criteria defined is comprehensive and helps answer queries during a selection process. This assessment tool with its quantified scale for each criterion will make the comparison of potentially selected technological tools for support to learning more systematic and easier. When the "Adaptations Framework" and "Ongoing AT Assessment Checklist" were introduced I began to realize that some of the queries I had during the first reflection were been addressed. How can one quantify and measure the effectiveness of technologies used to support learning? What are the key indicators to define? Thank you, Dr Wong!
After exploring the "Popplet" Karmila shared, I found it very useful for teaching categorizing skills. It is so easy to use (see example in the picture) and fuss-free. Not only does it allow text entries but also the insertion of pictures and videos. This allows me to differentiate for those who are weak in their literacy. Wonderful tool!
